Another Anderson Valley release, the 2018 Pinot Noir Afleet Estate Vineyard has plenty of spicy, red cherry and mulberry-styled fruits as well as dried flowers, tea, and loamy earth styled nuances. I love its elegance. Medium-bodied, with a light, silky texture, light tannins, and outstanding length, it's beautifully done and will shine on the dinner table over the coming decade or more.

Light baking spices blend with red cherry and a touch of sour cherry in this medium-bodied, deftly balanced wine. An elegant texture and subtleties in flavor seem to improve it with each sip. Best from 2023.

The 2018 Pinot Noir Afleet is one of the wines in this range that has a bit more whole clusters than some of the others. Dried flowers, mint, crushed berries, sage and orange peel give the 2018 lovely aromatic complexity. The Afleet is a bit stern in feel.

Open-textured, with fine-grained flavors of red currant, plum and cherry. Offers light spiciness in the midpalate, with a finish that has hints of dried green herbs. Drink now through 2024. 427 cases made.
